Over the past few months, my Standard Poodle, Herbie, has had several ear infections. Also, Herbie has to deal with hot spots and some inflammation in his ears. The vet and I both are leaning toward flea allergies. After research on the internet, I decided to give Ear. Dr a try.

I noticed improvement in his ears within a week. However, sometime after the first treatment the problems began again. So a began again with Ear Dr. and have continued with a one dose daily routine, and Genesis spray(Rx) every other day. Since this routine, Herbie has not had to be on any antibiotics and his ears look good. Also, I would like to note that I only have to use the Genesis routine in the summer. I think this is due to high flea activity.

Also, I would like to add that I use Frontline plus, clean his ears weekly with vinegar and water, and he eats Barking At The Moon by Solid Gold, and I add Seameal supplement(Solid Gold) to his food. I think ear cleaning and good food is a must as well as using Ear Dr. I would feed him Orijen if I could afford it.

I will continue using this product, and I have had good success with ordering from Amazon. Hope this helps.
