Ultrasonic Aroma Diffuser w/ 4-level Time Settings and 6 LED Lights Review

I originally bought a $200 Sha unit which seemed perfect, but leaked the moment I put water into it. I thought a cheaper unit would be, well, cheaper, but this little diffuser took me by complete surprise. The quality (so far) is superb, and it does everything I want it to! The light selection consists of four beautiful colors, each with a dim and bright option (I mainly use the dim setting). The timer function works perfectly, and the diffuser even has a tiny light which indicates which duration you've chosen (an extremely useful feature not to be found on the much more expensive unit). It was smaller than I expected it to be, but I'm so impressed with how it works that I find this to be an asset--I can tuck it away on an end table and it remains delightfully subtle, yet more than effective when using essential oils. Overall, I cannot believe I found exactly what I was looking for in such an inexpensive unit. Would highly recommend.

One night I heard a tiny beep, and was unable to find the source. After having a similar experience once or twice more throughout the week, I deduced that the beep was coming from my diffuser. Not only does it possess an automatic shutoff when it runs out of water, but it produces a delightfully pleasant yet informative sound to let you know it is out of water and will be shutting itself off. Love it.

Another note--the light can be turned off completely, if you prefer a more subtle look.

I love this thing.

I am currently training for a half marathon and I suffer from Migraines. During any of my runs that last longer than 30 minutes or so, I would get these horrible migranes that would take me down till at least the next day. I drink water throughout the run and I mix it with Gatorade to help replenish electrolytes. That didn't work. I tried many things, and someone reccommended I try Accel Gel. This is a great product. I bring these out with me and take it through my long runs and the migraines have been conquered. I've tried the chocolate and vanilla. Chocolate has caffeine and vanilla does not. I found this diffuser in the bathroom of a fancy movie theater and I just had to have it! I have a 2 story 1700 sq ft town home and I put it on the coffee table and it smelled very nice....that is when I would get a waif of it from time to time. Now I keep it in my powder bathroom and 'when' I can smell it, it is wonderful. I gave it 4 stars because I feel that it could be stronger. Avalon Organics Vitamin C Renewal Facial Cream, 2 Ounce -- 3 per case. Review

The marketing bozos at Avalon Organics (or Hain Celestial, who owns them now) have stamped a "NEW More Sustainable" logo on all of the Avalon cosmetic products. They have drastically changed the formulation of the two products I used to use, probably so they are cheaper to manufacture. Their Biotin B-Complex shampoo, which I used to love is completely different now. The number of ingredients has doubled, and the consistency and smell are completely different. This Vitamin C Renewal Creme, which I've used for a couple of years, now contains sodium benzoate, which when combined with ascorbic acid (vitamin C) can form benzene, a carcinogen. Probably not a good idea to add sodium benzoate to a product with Vitamin C in the name. I returned this product to Amazon after opening the shipping box. I suspected it might have fallen victim to the "NEW More Sustainable" crap (what does that mean anyway?). Sure enough, I saw the new logo as well as sodium benzoate in the ingredients list through the clear packaging. Amazon should update the product picture.

New formula. Purple label has yellow letters with "NEW, More Sustainable" and a flower picture above "baby." The good one has a picture of an orange duck with "sulfate-free" on the label. The 'new' formula has a sulfate in it. If you're going to try and read the ingredients on the label, get out a magnifier. It must be in the smallest print size allowed by law.

So ... orange duck bottle promoting 'sulfate-free' on label ... replaced by 'new' formula that includes sodium sulfate ... among other things like alcohol.

The organge duck formula smells like an orange and the smell rapidly goes away. Can shower in it and not smell like an orange afterwards (goes away rapidly). The flower bottle ('new' formula) smells like a rotting orange. The smell lasts on the body and I had to use other soap to wash off the unpleasant odor.

The orange duck has no mention of HAIN Celestial Group. The 'new' formula bottle has "Manufactured for Distribution By: (c) 2011 The HAIN CELESTIAL GROUP, INC."

On the Avalon Organics website, only the new bottle is displayed with the flower and new formula under the Baby page. I get the impression the orange duck formula is no more.

Find something that works and works well ... then they change it. Do they let people decide by offering the new formula along with the original? Apparently not.
