This is a good entry level brush. It holds up well and does a good job. I bought this about a year ago and have been happy with it. That is until I purchased a silver tip badger brush for $68. So much better. Don't get confused with descriptions. Pure badger is basically the lowest quality badger brush. Best badger is mid range and silver tip is the best. This is a good $40 brush but there are better brushes for a few dollars more.
