These aren't exactly pads, a wrap-around synthetic sheepskin fabric. The snaps are awesome, heavy and built to last. There is a snap on the side that keep the ends closed. The ties are long and are able to tie to any height bar. Now that we've used this product for a few weeks I see that I would have liked two rows of snaps. We have to put a foam bumper on the top rail because my daughter has seizures and her arm flails and hits the top rail.. While the pad does fit around the top of the bars, we can't use the snaps with the bumper foam on the top rail. I do like the product though!
