I am posting this review for each time the Carex Bath Shower Seat is listed. I have a septic right knee and left ankle but still able to walk with the help of a walker. Right now, I'm not at a point where I can stand for long periods of time. As such, I needed to find a shower chair or bench that would fit inside the tub so that I can shower without burdening my family. After 2 weeks of searching and reading reviews, I took a chance on the Carex Bath Bench. The bench is easy to assemble and is VERY STURDY (extremely important since I'm a big girl). I was able to sit on the bench and swing my right leg into the tub without any problems. The bench did not rock, shift, or anything. This is the first shower I've had since June!!! I was in the hospital for nearly 2 months!!! I can't begin to tell you the JOY I felt when the shower water hit my face and body!!! Little things do mean a lot and this shower bench really helped me to feel independent as well as fresh and clean! I strongly recommend this bench to anyone who is plus size, recuperating from knee/foot/hip/ankle surgery or has arthritis but still able to have some independence to bath. The Carex Bath Bench is a great fit and well worth the money!!! Thank you!
