I, like the first reviewer, am a tampon user. I purchased these pads because I wanted something soft and breathable for tampon back-up and for overnight (when I don't normally use tampons). These are WAY more comfortable than plastic, store-bought pads. The fabric is very soft and comfortable and they are not too bulky with regular clothes. I will never buy disposables again! The day pads are a bit larger/more absorbent than needed for tampon backup or regular pantiliner use. However, I find that I can use either just the pad holder or the removable liner individually for that purpose. The liner itself stays in place very well if you're wearing slightly tighter jeans/pants, if not, I'd recommend using the snap-around pad holder. Another plus is that you can buy extra liners and just change the liners and not the whole entire pad, which may be more convenient for some people. I'm planning on trying out the "mini" pads next!
